We are seeking serious singers to join us in any particular year or event. If you are looking for some musical excitement – or perhaps haven’t been singing for a while and wish to sing again, contact us. No audition is necessary.
We ask for a membership fee ranging from $50 to $100 per season to cover basic costs of music and accompanists. In case of financial hardship, these fees may be waived. Members of the Board of Directors are unpaid and generally are required to sing in performances.
We maintain a database of containing the email address of everyone who has sung with us over the years in order to keep members informed of Washtenaw Chorale events. This database is confidential and is not shared outside the group.
Send us an e-mail describing yourself and including your voice part (Soprano I or II, Alto I or II, Tenor I or II, Bass I or II) to the email address shown below. Please note that we feel it is very important to maintain a balance of the voices in the Washtenaw Chorale.
We will acknowledge your request to join, and a short audition with the Music Director may be arranged. Upon acceptance, your will be placed on the membership list and will receive information about rehearsals, concerts and the organization.
